Lux (OLCF)

Lux is the first phase of a follow-on to Frontier at Oak Ridge National Laboratory to be deployed in early 2026.1 From the press release,2

  • It will be based on the ProLiant Compute XD685
  • AMD MI355X GPUs
  • AMD Pensando Ethernet (see Implementations)
  • “leverage the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as part of the Lux AI Cluster”1
